Join us for a Pre-Session Fundraiser in support of Delegate-Elect Elizabeth Guzman, hosted by Roberta Baskin and Jim Trengrove at their home.
Elizabeth has a proven record of delivering results for the people of Virginia. Delegate Guzman is a former Delegate recently re-elected to represent the 22nd District which includes: Nokesville, Bristow, Gainesville, and parts of Manassas.
In the legislature, Elizabeth served in the Commerce and Energy Committee, the Health, Welfare and Institutions Committee, and the Education Committee. Elizabeth introduced more than 100 bills during her time in office and served as vice chair of the education committee and chair of the subcommittee of the social services committee.
As a second-generation union member, she led the fight for a “paid sick days” law so no Virginian had to choose between their health and a paycheck. She also passed historic legislation that lifted Virginia’s blanket ban on public sector collective bargaining. She has been recognized as a successful legislator by numerous advocacy organizations such as the Virginia Education Association and the Virginia League of Conservation Voters.
Now as she prepares to return to the House of Delegates, we want to send her off strong and well prepared to continue the fight in the legislature.
We’re excited to host this event on Sunday, January 11th from 4–6 PM at the home of Roberta and Jim. Join us for good company, good food, good times and a conversation about the upcoming legislative session and 2026 elections!
