Dear Current GMDDC Member,

The GMDDC is in the midst of a reorganization required by our bylaws every two years.  This requires each of us to file a new application to continue our membership for two (2) years and be eligible to vote in the election of our four officers:  Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.  The Officer Election and Reorganization meeting will be held on December 8, 2025, beginning at 6:30 PM, at Giuseppe’s in Haymarket.  There will also be a virtual option sent out at a later date.

Please note:  Unless you have filled out a new membership application and are voted in at the December 8th meeting, you will not be able to vote even if you are present in person or online.  Please try to do this in advance as we don’t want to have to slow down the process that evening if it can be avoided.  The link to the Membership Application is here:  JOIN THE GMDDC.

Our current officers (see position descriptions below) are as follows:

Vice-Chair: Marc Etchepare

Secretary- Linda David

Treasurer- Gene Klein

To date, only one of the officers has definitely decided not to run again, and that is Gene Klein, Treasurer.  So that position is open and will need to be filled.

If you are interested in running for any of the positions please submit a candidate statement with your name and a brief statement about why you are interested in running for one of the offices by Saturday, November 29th to a member or members of the Nominating Committee shown below. Role descriptions for each office are attached for your review.
